In this case, we obtained prior approval for a client who wanted to convert their office space into two new dwellings.
The offices are right in the centre of Windsor on a great street – they will make very nice new flats!
The prior approval process allows you to convert offices and other commercial premises into flats without requiring full planning permission. Although you must subject an application for prior approval, it is much more straightforward that a full application.
